Vermont Public Television, the statewide public television network, has hired Adam Rabin as director of web and interactive content. From 2004 to 2005, he worked at VPT as a master control operator. Rabin has developed website content and style for companies in Vermont and elsewhere, most recently for Jvillage Network in Burlington. For five years, he was Internet technology manager for Rocky Mountain PBS in Denver, Colo.
Rabin holds degrees from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and from Palm Beach Community College. In VPT’s development department, Brynn Wikgren has been hired as membership manager, overseeing direct mail, database management, e-marketing and viewer services. She is also rejoining the VPT staff, where she had previously been fundraising and events coordinator.
She is a graduate of Illinois State University.
Brennan Neill has been promoted to the newly created position of on-air fundraising manager. He is responsible for copy writing, talent selection and training, program coordination and other aspects of VPT’s televised campaigns. He also oversees VPT’s concert ticket partnerships with promoters, artists and venues.
Neill joined VPT in 2003 as a viewer services representative and was promoted to broadcast coordinator later that year. He is a graduate of the University of Vermont.
