Staige Davis, CEO of Lang McLaughry Spera Real Estate and its fine-property affiliate, Lion & Davis, has announced that Maureen Harmon has decided to retire from her role as the firm’s Managing Broker in its Manchester office as well as from the day-to-day practice of real estate. Harmon will devote more time to family, travel and other personal interests.
Davis is pleased to announce that Carol O’Connor will succeed Harmon as the Manchester office’s Managing Broker. O’Connor has worked in the real estate business since 1982, starting with Mary Davis Realty in Ludlow, Vermont before moving back to Manchester, her childhood home. She first worked for Kimball Martin Real Estate before going to Main Street Realty, a company founded by Harmon in 2004. O’Connor is a past President of the South Central Vermont Board of Realtors, Inc., and 2002 Realtor® of the Year. Carol is currently a member of the Burr and Burton Academy Board of Trustees, as well as chair of the Advancement Committee.
In May of 2010, Maureen's firm, Main Street Realty joined forces with Lang McLaughry Spera, which is Vermont’s and Northern New Hampshire’s leading independent real estate firm with fourteen offices throughout Vermont and the Upper Connecticut River Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire. During the time she owned Main Street Realty, Maureen became recognized as one of the top real estate leaders in the South Central Vermont Region.
