Two New Student Affairs Staff Members Appointed at Johnson State College

Johnson State College has filled two key staff positions in the Division of Student Affairs:

Cynthia Hennard, M.A., is JSC's new director of counseling. She is a

licensed clinical mental-health counselor and alcohol and drug counselor.

Most recently, she was coordinator of the substance-abuse treatment

program at the Lund Family Center in Burlington. Cynthia had a long time private

practice in Johnson and previously taught biological psychology at

Johnson State as an adjunct instructor.



Amy Davis, M.Ed., is the new learning specialist in JSC's

Office of Academic Support Services. She is a University of Vermont graduate

with a master's degree in education from Lesley University in Cambridge,

Mass. She is certified in special education for grades 5 to 12 and has

worked at a community college and at schools in California, Massachusetts

and Vermont.
