Union Bank is pleased to announce the addition of two new employees; Judy R. Smith as Commercial and Residential Lender, and James French as Network Administrator.
Judy R. Smith has 31 years of banking experience in the greater St. Albans area. In addition to being a lending officer, she has also been a mortgage originator and branch manager. She is active in the Champlain Housing Trust, focusing on improving housing stock in Franklin, Chittenden and Grand Isle Counties. A graduate of Bellows Free Academy and a graduate of courses from the American Institute of Banking and New England School of Banking, Ms. Smith will help Union Bank continue to expand its service to greater Franklin County.

James French comes to Union Bank from the United Kingdom, where he has had considerable experience with Information Technology Systems in Essex, England. He is a graduate of the UK’s University of Hertfordshire in Hatfield, England and holds a B.S.C. in Computer Science.
