Background:
The VA Burlington Lakeside Clinic (BLC) is now scheduling DOT exams for enrolled Veterans who need this exam. A DOT exam is a physical examination mandated by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (MCSA) for commercial motor vehicle drivers and may be required every two years for employment.
Veterans should speak to their health care provider to request a consult and to obtain an MCSA form. Once the consult is submitted, Veterans will be contacted to schedule an appointment. Veterans may call 802-657-7000 or speak to their primary care provider for additional information.
