Northern New England MedTech Conference Brings Innovators Throughout New England Together Oct 12

Vermont Business Magazine The MedTech Collaborative (formerly Upper Valley MedTech Collaborative) is excited to announce the second annual Northern New England MedTech Conference taking place on October 12 at the Hanover Inn in Hanover, New Hampshire. The conference will bring together innovators and industry veterans to address some of the biggest challenges in healthcare across New England.

The MedTech Collaborative (MTC) is an association of medical technology companies located in New Hampshire and Vermont. Formed in early 2020, the mission of the MTC is to enable collaboration between medtech innovators, support early stage medtech companies and promote the medtech industry.

MTC is excited to highlight the strength of the medtech industry throughout New England. The conference will take place in Hanover, New Hampshire, home to Dartmouth College, the Geisel School of Medicine, Darthmouth-Hitchcock Health and more than 60 other companies working in the medtech space. Sessions will include information on medtech’s role in solving healthcare’s biggest issues, supporting innovators in launching new products, understanding the nuances of purchasing today and scaling a medtech business regionally and globally.

“The interest in Medtech and HealthTech is growing exponentially in Northern New England” says Greg Lange, COO at Simbex, a medical device development company located in Lebanon, New Hampshire. “For our first conference, held virtually, we were overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and participation. This year, we look forward to an in-person event that allows our community to learn from one another and promotes collaboration across all of the companies, researchers, clinicians, entrepreneurs and investors in the region in order to improve the health and well-being of our global community.”

Carlo Colesanti, CEO of NextPhase Medical Devices of Rochester, New Hampshire is a presenting sponsor of the conference. ““NextPhase Medical Devices is immensely proud to be a Presenting Sponsor for the MedTech Conference since our collaboration and the work we do has such a positive impact on the lives of patients and families worldwide,” says Colesanti. Colesanti will be presenting at the conference in a session titled “Supply chain and Small Batch Manufacturing.”
