Home Safety Fair to Feature Document Shredding Services, Local Fire
and Police Departments, Car-Seat Technicians and Much More!
Area residents will have access to safety experts covering a wide array of
topics with the common goal of keep families safer in and around the home. The Northwestern Vermont
Board of REALTORS® (NVBR) is holding its Home Safety Fair on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at the New
England Federal Credit Union, 141 Harvest Lane, Williston from 10 am to 1 pm. This event is FREE to the
public.
Those attending the Fair will reduce the chances of identity theft by taking advantage of document
shredding services being offered by Shred-Ex. A company representative can also assist you with disposal
of hard drives. Two nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians from Vermont’s Be Seat Smart
program will be on site to display and talk about proper installation of child safety seats. In addition, home
safety experts covering home inspections, septic systems and water quality will be on hand to assist residents.
NVBR would like to thank the Williston Police Department, including K9-Duke, and the Williston Fire Department
for their support and participation at the Saturday’s Fair. As an added treat for attendees, Palmer Lane Maple
will be at the Fair with complimentary creemees!
