The first-ever gathering of Vermont’s growing network of thirteen resident-owned mobile home parks serving a total of 930 households!
The Cooperative Development Institute (CDI), New England Resident Owned Communities (NEROC), and Resident Owned Communities USA (ROC USA) will be hosting a Vermont Regional Training and Celebration on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 8:30am-1:30pm at the O’Brien Community Center in Winooski, VT.
This event is free and open to the press, to members of Resident Owned Communities and their families.
At the event, residents and their family members will find:
- A resource fair for homeowners and co-ops provided by CVOEO, Efficiency Vermont, Vermont Rural Water Association and more!
- Resident members with opportunities to network with and learn from members of other ROCs in Vermont!
- Space for residents to gain the ear of regional elected officials who will be attending, including Vermont State Senators Tim Ashe and Ginny Lyons, as well as Vermont State Representatives Carol Ode and Anne Donahue!
- Opportunities for residents to learn from /network with a wide range of regional organizations that provide a range of resources, services, and products!
- Free breakfast, lunch, and Celebration of ROC leaders!
Event Schedule:
--> 8:30: Arrive, sign-in, light breakfast
--> 9-11:30: Workshops
--> 11:30-Noon: Resource fair and networking
--> Noon-1:30: Celebration luncheon!
