Public Hearing on Artificial Intelligence in Vermont Oct 1

Norwich, VT - The Artificial Intelligence Task Force will hold a public hearing:

The task force was created by the Vermont Legislature to investigate the benefits and potential risks of artificial intelligence; make recommendations on the responsible growth of Vermont’s emerging technology markets, the use of artificial intelligence in State government, and any need for State regulation of the artificial intelligence field.

The public is encouraged to attend to share perspectives, concerns, hopes, and suggestions for how the task force should direct its work. Written testimony will also be accepted and may be emailed to [email protected].

Additional public hearings will be held in Manchester, VT on October 10 and at the Vermont Tech Jam at the Champlain Valley Exposition on October 17. For more information on these events contact [email protected].
