The Vermont Procurement Technical Assistance Center is offering a free workshop about the Historically Under-utilized Business Zones Program at 1 p.m. August 22 at The Lightning Jar, 194 North Street, in Bennington.
The primary goal of the HUBZone program is to create incentives for the U.S. government to offer federal contracts to businesses operating and creating jobs in areas with statistically proven economic needs. A guest speaker from the U.S. Small Business Administration will be on-site to answer questions.
Workshop is free, but registration is required.
