Tell Me More with Secretary Moore
Dewey Building, 1 National Life Drive, Montpelier VT
November 27 | 4-5pm
Agency of Natural Resources Secretary Julie Moore will host a gathering in Montpelier to discuss a variety of environmental topics on Tuesday, November 27th. The conversation will start with a discussion on invasive species in Vermont. Secretary Moore will then open the floor to the public, inviting them to share thoughts, ideas, questions and concerns about Vermont’s natural world – from land and water to plants and wildlife.
Invasive Plant Coordinator Elizabeth Spinney will kick off the discussion by offering practical ways individuals and communities can fight invasive species. Aquatic Invasive Species Management Coordinator Josh Mulhollem will then highlight the State’s work with municipalities in the development of management plans for invasive aquatic vegetation. While the meeting will begin with a conversation on invasive species, it will not be limited to this topic.
The gathering will be held in the Dewey Building at 1 National Life Drive in Montpelier on November 27th at 4-5 pm. For those not able to make it in person, a Facebook Live stream will be available on ANR's Facebook page.
