Description: The Vermont Association for the Education of Young Children
(VTAEYC), the Vermont Head Start Association (VHSA) and Let’s Grow Kids are
co-hosting a Conversation with the Candidates. Governor Phil Scott and
gubernatorial candidate Christine Hallquist will each answer questions about
their perspective on Vermont’s child care challenges and their support of
or opposition to efforts to develop a high-quality, affordable childcare
system in Vermont. Governor Scott will answer questions from 5:30 – 6 PM
and Hallquist will answer questions from 6 – 6:30 PM. Let’s Grow Kids is
curating the questions, which were submitted by the general public.
