Vermont Technology Alliance Presenting “Let’s Tech Together” Event May 23 Featuring Vermont AgTech Innovators

The Vermont Technology Alliance is presenting a “Let’s Tech Together” networking event with a focus on agriculture technology on Wednesday May 23, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Queen City Brewery in Burlington. This session is an opportunity to hear from leaders from three Vermont businesses that are innovating in the use of agriculture and food technology, while also enjoying pizza and beer and networking with others in the Tech and AgTech communities.

The scheduled panelists are:

  • Jake Isham, CEO of Ceres Greens, a vertical farming company focused on supplying  customers with fresh local produce, year round.
  • Rob Rock, owner of UpstreamAg, which designs and manufactures unique tools for small vegetable farms.
  • Steve Swanson, co-owner and “cricket whisperer” from Flourish Farm, a full-scale cricket farm in Vermont, raising and harvesting crickets for human and pet consumption.

This session is part of the Vermont Technology Alliance’s “Let’s Tech Together” series that highlights the unique Vermont-based businesses and organizations that are delivering tech innovations (and job opportunities) in all sectors of the economy, both inside and outside the state.
