Held every year in September, the Friends of the Stern
Center Card Party is hosted by the Friends of the Stern Center, a volunteer
group dedicated to promoting knowledge about learning differences and to
raising scholarship funds for Stern Center for Language and Learning
students. Their signature event, the Card Party, gives members of the
community an opportunity to spend the afternoon playing bridge, enjoying the
company of friends, and eating delectable desserts and finger sandwiches. All
proceeds from the event go towards the Stern Center Scholarship Program to
benefit students of the Stern Center. This year's event will be held at Faith
United Methodist Church at 899 Dorset Street, South Burlington, VT. The event
occurs on Thursday, September 14th and begins at 1 p.m. and ends at 4 p.m.
