The annual fall meeting of the Vermont Specialty Food Association will be held on Tuesday, November 1st at the Holiday Inn in South Burlington, VT. Over 70 attendees are expected including specialty food producing members, associate members, prospective members, nonmembers and guests.
The educational offerings highlight a lot of wonderful talent in Vermont and surrounding states. This event provides opportunities for businesses of all sizes to learn and grow.

Allison Weinhagen, City Market’s Director of Community Engagement, will be our featured luncheon speaker. She will share the Co-op’s plans for expansion to Burlington’s South End and Old North End. Attendees will learn how the Co-op supports local farmers and food producers. Hear stories of the Co-op’s Farmer and Producer Loan Program and increases in local food purchases through their Prepared Foods department. She’ll also share the Co-op’s vision for the future and increased support of Vermont’s local food system.
Also joining our spectacular list of speakers for the VSFA fall meeting are Allyson Myers of Lake Champlain Chocolates, Jay Jacobowitz of Retail Insights, Phil Totora & Steve Cook of the Vermont Department of Tourism & Marketing, Michael Thompson an 8–year veteran of the SCORE Association and responsible for launching Breton Crackers in the USA and 25 other countries around the World, as well as Aurise Randall of Associated Buyers & Rick Brown of Vermont Roots & Sales Authorizations, LLC.
