With deep-rooted history in downtown Burlington, Hilton Burlington is proud to celebrate its 40th anniversary on Sept. 21. The hotel will host media and guests in a Lake Champlain Chamber of Commerce 70’s throwback party and commemorate the evening with a special cake cutting.
Hilton Burlington will also kickoff it’s “Celebrate Your 40th with Ours” incredible deal for visitors that are turning 40 this year. For any guest that visits the hotel through the remainder of the year and shows proof of turning 40 in 2016 with a valid ID, will receive a complimentary meal at The Mounted Cat, the hotel’s signature restaurant.
Originally opened 1976 and flagged as a Hilton in 2007, Hilton Burlington was the first of many developments that paved the way for the vibrant downtown Burlington enjoys today. As a pillar of Burlington downtown development, the hotel was the only full-service hotel in the district until 2009. It continues to stimulate tourism, accommodating an average of 73,667 hotel room stays and serving 83,333 meals to group and visitors attending local events annually, over the last three years.
