On the 5th Anniversary of Tropical Storm Irene, Sue Minter will be traveling around the state visiting towns affected by the storm, and celebrating their recovery. Please see her complete public appearance schedule for August 28th.
When the worst natural disaster in nearly a century, Tropical Storm Irene, hit Vermont, Sue Minter, former Irene Recovery Officer, helped lead the state's recovery effort. Sue oversaw the rebuilding of five hundred miles of roads and bridges and helped organize hundreds of volunteers to get the hardest-hit communities back on their feet, and helped secure millions of dollars in federal relief funding for the state.
