Senator Leahy to speak at the retirement ceremony honoring Lieutenant General Michael Dubie, former Vermont Adjutant General. Leahy will also present to Dubie the Defense Distinguished Service Medal.
Saturday, October 3, 4:00 p.m.
Champlain Valley Fairgrounds, Essex Junction
Senator Leahy to make remarks at Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 829 Memorial Service. The service is part of the visit to Vermont of the Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Fund’s Traveling Wall, which is also known as “The Wall That Heals,” a half-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial in Washington, DC. (Service will take place on Fairgrounds, behind VFW Post 6689 at 73 Pearl Street, Essex Junction. In case of rain, the service will be moved to the fair’s State Building.)
