Dr. Shahram Edadollahi, VITL Summit '15 VITL is very excited to announce that Vice President, Innovation & Chief Science Officer Shahram Ebadollahi at IBM Watson Health will be the Summit '15 keynote speaker. As the head of innovations he oversees development, solutions, and partnerships for the IBM Watson Health business unit. As the chief scientific officer, he has global responsibility for the direction of IBM Research in the area of health informatics and also the innovation strategy for IBM Watson Health. He and his team have conducted research in the broad area of health informatics with specific focus on computational health care, and also have enabled software and services in the area of data-driven analytics and big data for healthcare and life sciences applications.

This year's lunch speaker will be David Glickman, delivering A Dose of Healthcare Humor.

David Glickman, VITL Summit '15

David Glickman works with healthcare organizations that want to add some comic relief to their events in order to make them really fun and memorable. With a portable keyboard slung over his shoulders on a strap, he combines humor and music for an exciting presentation.

In 1985, David left a career in healthcare to become a fulltime speaker and entertainer. He has presented more than 2000 programs since that time, specializing in finding humor in the hectic healthcare environment.

David has also worked with everyone from The Beach Boys to Steve Martin and has made several national television appearances.
