MONTPELIER – Gov. Peter Shumlin will sign a number of significant bills next week, including legislation to allow Vermonters to register to vote and cast a ballot on the same day, an education reform bill to enhance educational quality while addressing school spending and property taxes, and an economic development bill to help more businesses grow jobs in Vermont.
