What: The University of Vermont will host more than 700 scientists, policy experts, conservationists, students, and others for the 58th annual Conference on Great Lakes Research.
Highlights:
• Presentations on the emerging threat from microplastic pollution in lake waters.
• The latest reports on the spread of zebra mussels and other invasives.
• Discussion of climate change and its impacts, including algae blooms.
