Lieutenant Governor Phil Scott and the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to host the “Vermont Young Professional Economy Pitch” on Tuesday, April 21, 2015. All are invited to attend the Economy Pitch at the Vermont State House in order to hear representatives from Vermont’s young professional community make five-minute pitches about how to grow the economy and grow Vermont’s young workforce from their perspective. Presenters were found in partnership with Bennington Young Professionals, Burlington Young Professionals, Northshire Young Professionals, and Rutland Young Professionals. The “Vermont Young Professional Economy Pitch” is the sixth pitch session this year. These sessions are intended to create direct connections between Vermont’s business community and elected officials, with the hope of bringing forth meaningful, proactive economic development strategies.
