Norwich University holds open forum with White House Fellows
Norwich University hosts three White House Fellows in a moderated discussion and Q&A, titled, “Working in the White House: An Open Forum with three White House Fellows on Leadership and Service,” on Friday, Feb. 20 from 4-5:30 p.m.
The panel discussion, held in Webb Hall’s Dole Auditorium, will be moderated by former longtime Vermont journalist for the Associated Press and Vermont Public Radio, Ross Sneyd. The event is free and open to the public.
Panelists are: Francisco Leija, NU’M06, who currently serves as Special Advisor to the Secretary, Department of Homeland Security; Norwich’s Director of the School of Nursing Sharon Richie, PhD, who served as a White House Fellow in 1982, and prominent Vermonter, Judy Rosenstreich, who served as Vermont’s first White House Fellow in 1976 and currently serves as Senior Policy Advisor to the Vermont Department of Mental Health.
Founded in 1964 by Lyndon B. Johnson, the White House Fellows program is one of America's most prestigious programs for leadership and public service. White House Fellowships offer exceptional young men and women first-hand experience working at the highest levels of the federal government.
