Camp Ta-Kum-Ta, the regions year-round camp for children who have, or have had cancer is holding our Annual Jump in the Lake to Kick off the 16th Annual KOOL 105 Ta-Kum-Ta thon (December 15-19, 2014). The annual “Ta-Kum-Ta-thon” radio broadcast brings in approximately $150,000 in donations to be spent directly on the campers and their activities.

The average cost of funding a child for a years’ worth of activities is $2,500. This includes transportation, food, clothing, medical care, and what camp staffers describe as a lifetime of activities jammed into our year round programs.
Since its inception 16-years ago, the KOOL 105 Ta-thon on local radio station KOOL 105 (WKOL-FM 105.1) has raised over 1-Million dollars to send area children to camp. The broadcast is Monday, Dec 15 to Friday, Dec 19 between the hours of 5AM and 10AM at 70 Joy Drive in South Burlington, VT.
