VERMONT’S LARGEST HOUSING CONFERENCE
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 19, AT BURLINGTON HILTON
BURLINGTON—Governor Peter Shumlin will join national housing leaders and Vermont housing professionals next Wednesday for a day of prioritizing the state’s housing needs and exploring ways to address them. The conference will open by voting on the most pressing housing issues through the latest crowdsourcing technology, followed by insights from Governor Shumlin about his goals for housing. The keynote address will be delivered then by the nationally-acclaimed Barry Zigas, Director of Housing Policy, Consumer Federation of America and member of the Bipartisan Policy Center’s Housing Commission.
The lunchtime address will feature a presentation of Housing Hero awards to former legislators Susan Bartlett and Martha Heath for their leadership, commitment, and courage to find balance between Vermont’s budget and values.
