BURLINGTON, VT -- This year, for the first time, ECHO is allowing the public the opportunity to view the City of Burlington’s fireworks from the aquarium and science center with an epic party called “Celebrate the Lake”! ECHO’s “Celebrate the Lake” 3rd of July Party includes dinner (American BBQ-style), music, cash bar, face painting, airbrush tattoos and access to ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center through 11 p.m.!
Delicious Food 5:30 to 8:30: The award-winning team from Sugarsnap Catering will be putting on a delicious American-style BBQ for all guests. They will enjoy pulled pork, hamburgers, hotdogs, coleslaw, salad, corn bread ice tea, lemonade and more.
Music, music, music! From 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The band Sticks and Stones will be performing. The group features Hayley Stone (vocals) and Justin Branch (guitar and vocals) along with Aaron Albee (bass) and Jerry Cloutier (drums and vocals). This eclectic group hits all the genres with classic rock, pop, country and familiar cover songs.
D.J. Music from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Well known master D.J. Jim Companion from Premier Entertainment and Events will add his own eclectic music mix to the evening and provides a nice way to wind down after the fireworks and hang back and let the crowds and traffic thin before heading home.
Fireworks at 9:30 p.m. ECHO offers one of the best locations on the waterfront for viewing this annual spectacle of light and sound.
Tickets are $60 for adults and $25 for children (3-12). ECHO member special pricing is $50 for adults and $20 for children (3-12). Ticket price includes dinner by Sugarsnap, live band at the beginning of the evening, kid-friendly entertainment including face painting and airbrush tattoos, fantastic location to watch the fireworks, and a DJ in the evening for a post-fireworks dance party.
All proceeds go toward supporting ECHO’s educational programming.
