So what does it take to plan, start and run a successful small business where you can realize the challenges and satisfaction of working for yourself? Take the next step and learn how to get going in the right direction by attending the next Vermont Small Business Development Center's (VtSBDC.org)  workshop in on "How to Start Your Own Business" conducted by experienced business advisors and designed as a step-by-step guide for the first-time business owner - June 11th - from 8:30am - 12noon - at Vermont Tech, Williston (700 Building - Workforce Development/Continuing Education Conference Room) A few workshop highlights:

·        Evaluate the feasibility of your idea and the market

·        Permits/ licenses/registrations

·        Legal/accounting issues

·        Financial needs and options

·        Overview and how to prepare an effective business plan

·        What a credible loan package looks

·        Plus lots more
