Chamber Brings Amtrak's National Train Day To Rutland
Plan on attending Amtrak's National Train Day celebration at the Rutland Station on Saturday, May 10th.
National Train Day activities feature train equipment displays Featuring the historic “Great Dome” car 10031 and including a P42 Locomotive, Amtrak Cafe', Amfleet Coach and more!
There will also be local exhibitors under the tent, model train displays, Operation Lifesaver, kid-friendly activities at the Chuggington Kids Depot, including a kids train ride by the Roaming Railroad and more.
Vermont Railway will also have a train coming and going in celebration of their 50th Anniversary.
Amtrak® invites you and your family to come to Downtown Rutland to celebrate trains and train travel, and to share why Trains matter to us all.
The event is free and will run from 10-4pm. This will also be the opening day of the Rutland County Outdoors Farmers Market in Depot Park.
