ACCD weekly business Webinar today at 3 pm

Vermont Business Magazine The Department of Health (VDH) and the Agency of Commerce and Community Development (ACCD) will host their weekly webinar series again Wednesday, December 9 at 3 pm focusing on health and commerce pandemic updates for the business community. Decision makers from ACCD, VDH, and the Department of Public Safety will provide updates and be available to answer your questions. Businesses can submit questions ahead of time via an online form.

USDA Financial Assistance Available

The USDA Coronavirus Food Assistance Program provides financial assistance to agricultural producers who continue to face market disruptions and associated costs due to COVID-19. The deadline to apply for these funds is December 10th. Find full details at the USDA program website.

The USDA Rural Development office is able to assist rural small businesses and agricultural producers by conducting and promoting energy audits and providing Renewable Energy Development Assistance (REDA). Learn more about the program and how to apply.

Artist Development Grants

The Vermont Arts Council has opened another round of Artist Development Grants to support artists at all stages of their careers. Grants are intended to fund activities that enhance mastery of an artist’s craft or skills and activities that increase the viability of an artist's ability to teach or do business through digital pivots. Everyone Eats Program Still Open

Vermont Everyone Eats is a program created through federal CRF funds that works with local restaurants to help feed Vermonters who are struggling due to COVID-19. The program pays restaurants $10/meal to help feed their neighbors and there are already over 140 distribution sites around Vermont. Funding remains for eligible businesses to take part in the program before the end of the year.
