SMD said in a statement: "For us, this honor for our signature vodka made from corn and winter wheat rivals our double gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, a 95 rating from the Wine Enthusiast and a gold medal from the Beverage Testing Institute. “Smugglers’ Notch Vodka is made from Idaho-grown grains and water from the Mount Mansfield watershed of Northern Vermont,” according to USA Today. “The grain wash gets distilled in a four-column still and passed through a multi-stage filtration process for a smooth vodka with just a hint of sweetness. Smugglers’ Notch Distillery also makes an organic gluten-free vodka made from corn” and Moroccan Rose & Grapefruit Flavored Vodka, the first of a Reserve Series offering unique and natural vodka flavors.
