VINS Nature Center reopens to the public

Vermont Business Magazine The VINS Nature Center in Quechee has reopened to the public, as of June 15. They are welcoming guests once again to our outdoor spaces and exhibits, including the Forest Canopy Walk, Adventure Playscape, Nature Trails, Raptor Enclosures and Songbird Aviary. In order to encourage physical distancing among visitors, the Forest Canopy Walk is one-way to minimize congestion as visitors enjoy this experience. We are offering snacks and drinks for purchase, and appropriately spaced outdoor picnic tables will be available for seating. They are open daily from 10 am to 5 pm.

Our Nature Store will have limited access, although we invite guests to shop anytime at store.vinsweb.org.
Tickets to our VINS Nature Center may be purchased in advance or upon arrival. Masks are required for entry to the VINS Nature Center, and hand sanitizer is available throughout the campus.
We plan to resume live bird programs on July 13, and to open more portions of the campus at that time, including the Birds Are Dinosaurs exhibit. Our public restrooms will be open immediately. Please note that while service dogs are always welcome at the VINS Nature Center, no dogs may be left unattended in the parking lot.
We will be offering discounted pricing through July 12: adults $10; seniors, college students, educators, and veterans $9; and youth $5. We will continue to honor $5 pricing for EBT cardholders at all times.
On July 13, we will resume our regular admission pricing, which is as follows: adults $17.50; seniors, college students, educators, and veterans $16.50; youth $15.00; and free for Members and for children three and under. All ticket purchases may be applied toward the purchase of a VINS membership.
The Center for Wild Bird Rehabilitation is open daily for intake of injured or orphaned wild birds. Please email [email protected] with any inquiries.
