These measures include closing all common areas, employees completing health training, screening employees when they arrive, and appointing a safety officer.

Emergency Relief Funding for Cultural Organizations
Arts and humanities organizations in Vermont facing hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic now have additional resources and funding tools available to aid in recovery.
Through a partnership between the Vermont Arts Council and Vermont Humanities Council, organizations may apply for emergency relief funding from the new COVID-19 Cultural Relief Grant Program. Grants do not require a match and range between $5,000 and $10,000, based on organization size. For full details and to apply, visit www.vermontartscouncil.org/culturalrelief or www.vermonthumanities.org/c19-grants. For more information, email [email protected].
The Vermont Arts Council has also reopened the Rapid Response Artist Relief fund offering grants of up to $500 to Vermont artists in need. The deadline for this round of applications is May 13, 2020.
In May, the Vermont Community Foundation will open the Arts Recovery Fund. Direct grants will support both individual artists and cultural organizations that are experiencing financial distress due to the spread of the novel coronavirus across Vermont. Donations are now being accepted on the Community Foundation’s website at vermontcf.org/ArtsRecovery.
Most Vermont Auto Insurers Reducing or Partially Refunding Premiums
More than forty additional auto insurance companies have filed plans to refund portions premiums or reduce their rates for Vermont policyholders. The premium savings will vary depending on the company. At this time, most relief will be in the range of 15-20% for a period of two or three months.
Business Impact
ACCD wants to hear from all Vermont businesses impacted by the response to the COVID-19 virus. Please share these impacts via the ACCD Business Impact Form, which will help us assess the full impact as we work toward solutions.
