Vermont Business Magazine To honor front line healthcare workers during the coronavirus pandemic, the University of Vermont will illuminate the Davis Center in blue lights each night beginning about 8 p.m.

UVM plans to light the Davis Center in blue indefinitely.

The building will be blue-lit on three sides, including the roofline, the large rounded window and the tower on the east side. A string of rooms on the fourth floor of building along Main Street will be lit. In addition, the rounded window on the west side of the building will be lit in blue.

Illuminating buildings in blue lights to commemorate frontline healthcare workers is happening in locations across the country. The Davis Center is the first building, or is among the first, in Vermont.
