Vermont State Police Beginning in September of 2019, Vermont State Police and Department of Corrections conducted a partnered investigation into an allegation of a sexual relationship occurring at Southern State Correctional Center (SSCC), in Springfield, VT. It was determined that Victoria H. Calogero was working at SSCC as a licensed mental health counselor in 2017 and 2018. During this time, Calogero engaged in numerous instances of sexual contact with an inmate, inside the prison.
