VTFCU President/CEO Elected to Board of Director's of America's Credit Union Museum
BURLINGTON, VT-Joseph M. Finnigan, President/CEO of Vermont Federal Credit Union was recently named to the Board of Directors of Americas Credit Union Museum in Manchester, New Hampshire.

The mission of Americas Credit Union Museum is to commemorate the founders and the site of Americas first credit union in Manchester, New Hampshire in 1908 and to educate present and future generations on the benefits of cooperative self-help efforts to promote thrift and sensible use of credit.

Joseph Finnigan is embarking on his 28th year with Vermont Federal Credit Union. He is serving his 2nd term as Chair of the Board of Directors for TriCorp Federal Credit Union. He was appointed to the National Credit Union Legislative Action Council (CULAC) Board of Trustees. He has been active on various community boards including the Vermont Childrens Aid Society, the Jimmy Fund Council, through the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Y Time Childrens Center. Joe is a graduate of Northeastern University, and resides in South Burlington, VT with his wife Sue.
