Approximately 225 students who enroll in Champlain Colleges Internet, Information & Business course this year will make use of ColligoNet. Approximately 160 students in Champlains Business, Marketing, and e-Business programs have been exposed to the application already during the fall semester.
Professor Robert Cartelli, said ColligoNet is an incredibly efficient tool from both the professors and the students point of view. Plans are in the works to use the technology in additional courses as well, Cartelli said. Next semester, some students in Burlington will also team up with Champlain College students based in Mumbai, India, to build Web-based businesses using ColligoNet. The efficiency that comes with ColligoNet allows us to add significant new learning to each course, he said.
