SOUTH BURLINGTON, VERMONT - Coretomic Inc. announced today the launch of GreenUpBiz "Reducing Energy & Improving Corporate Competitiveness," a partnership between Coretomic, a global leader in eBiz software development, Champlain College, a private, professionally focused college in Vermont, and member US businesses to implement, educate and empower businesses to GreenUp with eBiz tools, processes, knowledge and teamwork.
Coretomic CEO David Castrucci said, "We believe the time is perfect for business to move processes out of the back office, off the road and onto the website.
This movement will dramatically improve the competitiveness of any business and will radically reduce energy consumption."
"We recognize that the only corporate physical space in the virtual world is the corporate website," Castrucci said. "This makes the corporate website the place where all business processes will eventually occur."
Coretomic has seen the fast adoption of self-service eBiz processes for large corporations such as Verizon, but has also recognized that small- to mid-sized businesses cannot afford this technology and/or will have a hard time implementing it on their own.
Companies report that their customers are demanding 24/7 connection to the corporation. This driving need for self service will benefit corporations in many ways.
GreenUpBiz provides the eBiz platforms, education, services, community and even capital through its Go Green Grant Program to assist companies in their mission to GreenUpBiz.
Champlain College will be a "living lab" for this new Coretomic product, said Dean of Business Wayne Cunningham. The new product will be incorporated, where appropriate, into various courses within the business division. Students may also work on internships with Coretomic.
"Coretomic is interested in the idea of eliminating paperwork within a firm and between a firm and its clients." Cunningham said. "The Division of Business at Champlain College is committed to this partnership because the GreenUpBiz initiative benefits our business students and their employers both now and for years to come."
