BMA TO PROVIDE INFRARED THERMOGRAPHIC ANALYSIS/BUILDING

BENNINGTON, VT BMA Architects & Planners is pleased to add state-of-the-art infrared thermographic analysis to its Building Evaluation and Forensic Services.

Dan Douglas of BMAs Bennington office became accredited as a Level 1 Thermographer this past winter. This, combined with his experience in the field, and the purchase of a hi-tech IR camera, makes BMA well equipped to effectively conduct building evaluations to identify moisture and thermal problems with building envelopes, as well as inspect electrical and mechanical systems without performing invasive and costly demolition.

Sparked by the rising costs of building operations and the increased demand for more energy-efficient buildings, BMAs Principal Architect Kirk Moore, AIA, recognized a void in the services market for Building Evaluation and Forensic Analysis, and added them to the firms already broad scope. New Services now include Total Building Assessment, Existing Conditions Survey and Documentation, Building Envelope Evaluations, Construction Defect Analysis, Non-invasive Investigations, Expert Witness Testimony, Remediation Plans, Remediation Management and Thermographic Analysis and Reporting.
BMA offers a full scope of architectural and planning services for both commercial and residential projects. The design team has more than 50 years of combined experience with services from site selection, feasibility studies and master planning, sustainable design, construction documents, construction administration and building evaluation and remediation.
