Peter Crosby Named to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont Board of Directors
Berlin Peter F. Crosby, of St. Johnsbury, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont. Mr. Crosby was elected at the companys recent annual meeting.
Mr. Crosby is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Passumpsic Savings Bank, where his career has included a variety of management and leadership positions. He also serves as Director of the Federal Home Loan Bank in Boston. A graduate of St. Johnsbury Academy and Colby College in Waterville, Maine, he has been active in a broad array of professional and community organizations, including the St. Johnsbury Development Fund, Inc.; the Economic Development Fund of Northern Vermont, Inc.; Northeast Kingdom Human Services, Inc.; and the Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital. He also has served as a member of the St. Johnsbury School Board and the St. Johnsbury Recreation Department Committee, and is former chairman of the Vermont Bankers Association.
