Exhibition Space Still Available at Barre Garden Show

EXHIBITION SPACE STILL AVAILABLE AT BARRE GARDEN SHOW
Barre, Vt. (March 3, 2008) Organizers of the first-ever Central Vermont Garden Show are looking for more vendors and exhibitors.
The event, slated for March 14-16 at the Barre Civic Center, includes landscape exhibits, a garden railroad, floral competitions, a silent auction and educational workshops. Well-known author and herbalist Rosemary Gladstar -- founder of the Sage Mountain Retreat and United Plant Savers International, respectively -- will deliver the keynote address. In addition, industry experts will present on several topics, such as rain gardens, landscaping and bonsai.
There is still time to join the first-class lineup of exhibitors and vendors already scheduled to participate in the Central Vermont Garden Show, said Co-Chair Jeanne Daniele. "This is a fantastic, affordable opportunity for all landscapers, stonemasons, sugar makers and nonprofits to showcase what they do best in front of hundreds of spectators."
All participants are encouraged to use "green" displays that emphasize energy efficiency, creative recycling and sustainable practices. In keeping with the show's theme, "A Green Mountain Spring," exhibitors and vendors are also asked to utilize early bulbs, evergreens, still-bare trees and shrubs, greenhouses and snow as design elements.
The Central Vermont Garden Show runs March 14 and 15 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and March 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Central Vermont YMCA. Parties interested in vending or exhibiting should contact Daniele at (802) 479-9038 or [email protected].
ABOUT THE CENTRAL VERMONT GARDEN SHOW
