Stratton Golf U and David Leadbetter Golf Academy join forces for 2010

Stratton Mountain Resort, best known for its world class skiing and riding during the winter months is gearing up for a summer dedicated to higher learning. This summer, Stratton's Golf University is proud to welcome the David Leadbetter Golf Academy for five day “Junior Summer Swing” camps and two and three day mini-schools for adults.
“We are extremely excited to work with such a well respected golf institution in the name of bringing the best possible programming and value to our guests here at the resort” said Stratton Vice President of Clubs, Rob Aubin. Stratton’s 27-hole championship course has played host to six LPGA tournaments and will open in May.

Junior Summer Swing
Open to golfers ages 12-18, from beginners to experienced golfers, these exciting week long summer programs offer the most unique and effective training methods taught anywhere in the world.
Program Dates: June 14-18, June 28-July 2, July 12-16, July 26-30, August 9-13, August 23-27

Price: $795 non boarding, $1295 boarding

Mini School
An extremely popular program for those who are interested in receiving instruction on both their full swing and their short game, Mini School makes the most of your golf game with two or three day sessions.
Program Dates: Two day - Every weekend beginning June 12.
Three day, June 22- 24, July 6-9, July 20-22, August 3-5, August 17-19, August 31-September 2

Price: Two day $650. Three day $875.

Stratton’s Golf University, founded in 1969 by golf legend Arnold Palmer, is back for another season of helping individuals improve their game and lower their scores.
Golf University is situated on 22 acres in the heart of the beautiful southern Green Mountains of Vermont, and is taught by certified PGA and LPGA instructors focused on giving individualized instruction to each and every student. Golf University’s comprehensive teaching facility allows participants to simulate every shot in the game from uphill to sidehill, sand to troubleshot and also includes access to the Stratton golf course. Golf University Core Sessions begin when the course opens on May 21.
