Stratton Mountain Resort and Resorts Tapped LLC are pleased to announce the release of Stratton Tapped. Stratton Tapped is a GPS iPhone application developed exclusively for Stratton Mountain Resort. It uses the iPhone's built-in GPS to locate the user and their friends on the official Stratton trail map and log the user's runs and vertical feet traveled. This specialized app allows users to pinpoint their location on the actual Stratton trail map, not a hard-to-read topographical or satellite map.
Stratton Tapped is the first and only app designed specifically for Stratton Mountain Resort. The app also provides current weather and snow conditions, real-time lift status information, Stratton's Twitter updates and a built-in directory for resort services and amenities that is linked to the resort map. All of the user's logs can be shared with friends via email or posted to Facebook as tracks on the trail map. Logs can also easily be exported as a .kml file to be viewed in Google Earth.
