Orbis Flying Eye Hospital at Burlington International Airport

Mobile Medical International Corporation (MMIC) and ORBIS International are pleased to announce that the world’s only Flying Eye Hospital will be landing in Burlington, Vermont for two days later this month. Visitors will have the opportunity to tour the aircraft, meet the volunteer pilots, crew and doctors, talk with the team who works aboard the aircraft, and learn about the next-generation MD-10 Flying Eye Hospital being designed and manufactured by MMIC in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Space is limited and tour preregistration is required at www.orbis.org/BTV. ‘MMIC is thrilled to bring an event of this magnitude to Vermont,’ said MMIC President and CEO Rick Cochran. ‘We are incredibly proud to have been chosen by ORBIS to build their third-generation Flying Eye Hospital right here in St. Johnsbury. It is our great honor to help ORBIS continue to treat and cure blindness, and provide access to medical education in developing countries around the world.’ Thanks to the support received from U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy, former Governor Jim Douglas, former Lt.
