In presenting the contribution, Mr. McHatten was quoted as saying, We felt it very important to support the continued efforts of The Vermont Disaster Relief Fund and its goal of $10 million. The response of the Vermont community from the devastation left by Irene has been a model in terms of pulling together and supporting one another. Based upon our long term presence in the State and significant partnerships with its Independent Agents, we wanted to do our part in participating with these efforts.
