Vermont construction activity is expected to slow. McGraw-Hill Construction, which collects data nationwide, has reported that June contractsfor future construction in Vermont is down for the month and the year. McGraw-Hillproduces Dodge Reports andSweets Catalog Files. The reports had showed month over month improvement in March (up 8 percent), April (up 31 percent) and May (up 5 percent). But June was down 39 percent and for the year was down 12 percent.
Meanwhile, New Hampshire contracts were also down in June (-49 percent) and for the year (-15 percent).
