Kinney Pike Insurance announces merger with Allen and Roy agencies

The Allen Agency of Williston, Vermont and the Roy Insurance Agency of Swanton, Vermont have announced their recent merger with Rutland-based Kinney Pike Insurance. As part of this merger, Kinney Pike Insurance has relocated its South Burlington office to The Allen Agency building in Williston, Vermont.

The Allen Agency was founded in the early 1920s by Howard Allen. In 1982, Andy Finelli and John McAuliffe, along with three other partners, became owners. Over time, Andy and John assumed full ownership of the Agency. John and Andy acquired the Roy Insurance Agency in 1999. All current Allen Agency and Roy Insurance Agency staff will continue to work for the combined entity, to include both Andy Finelli and John McAuliffe.
Kinney Pike Insurance, one of the largest independent insurance agencies in Northern New England, has been protecting families and businesses in the Northeast for over 100 years.
