Lund receives $15,000 grant from the TD Charitable Foundation

Lund is delighted to announce a $15,000 grant to the Early Childhood Program from the TD Charitable Foundation.’ This grant will provide four early care and education scholarships to the population of at-risk children in Lund’s early childhood program. The Program provides high quality, affordable, full-day, year-round early childhood care and education to 0-5 year olds at-risk of neglect, abuse and school failure. The program is located at Lund’s new second building at 50 Joy Drive in South Burlington.’
Barbara Rachelson, Executive Director of Lund says, ‘We are very grateful for the support of our early childhood program from the TD Charitable Foundation.’ The research is clear and compelling ‘’ ‘ quality early childhood education has a lifelong positive impact on all children, and is particularly vital for children living in high risk environments.’ Lund’s Early Childhood Program creates a nurturing, child-oriented environment that maximizes development for at-risk children, with a particular focus on language and brain development during this vital early stage of life. It is wonderful to receive this grant from TD Charitable Foundation for a program that is so crucial to our children and families both immediately and for the future.’
