Governor Peter Shumlin appoints members to over 180 boards and commissions and has recently revamped that section of his official website to make it easier for Vermonters to get involved and serve the state and their communities. Visitors to the page can now view a complete list of gubernatorial boards and commissions, which includes board descriptions, lists of current members, term expiration dates and seat descriptions, where applicable.’ ‘
A list of current vacancies is also new to the webpage. Additionally, the application to request an appointment has been updated.’ Applicants can now complete the application online and submit it electronically.’ ‘
