FairPoint expands coverage in Bethel, Pittsfield, Rochester and Stockbridge

FairPoint Communications, Inc. (NasdaqCM: FRP) has expanded broadband to more than 190 homes and businesses in Bethel, Pittsfield, Rochester and Stockbridge.
FairPoint’s new fiber-based, high-capacity network offers customers a better, faster way to communicate.

FairPoint provides residential speed options up to 15Mbps. Broadband service on the next-generation network means customers can smoothly stream live video, play online games and upload photos and large files with ease. Reliable broadband access provides almost instant connections to information, news and entertainment.
FairPoint’s broadband Internet service will reach customers along all or portions of the following streets:
In Bethel: Hooper Hollow Road.
In Pittsfield: Emerson Way, Liberty Hill.
In Rochester: Col Dehart Stand, Jerusalem Hill, Liberty Hill, Marsh Brook Road, New Boston Road, North Hollow Road, North View Drive, Middle Hollow Road, Oak Lodge Road, Quarry Hill Road, Rocky Road, Route 100, Saw Mill Hill, Town Line Road, Twitchell Settlement.
In Stockbridge: Olmstead Drive, Route 100.
FairPoint has invested nearly $100 million in its network in the Green Mountain State and has added 1,100 miles of new fiber, providing high-speed access to 90 percent of its Vermont service areas.
