Groundbreaking at Alice Hyde Medical Center on August 2

On Friday, August 2, at the Alice Hyde Medical Center (a Fletcher Allen affiliate), there will be a groundbreaking ceremony to commence the construction of a new skilled care and assisted living facility. The ceremony will be held at 10 am at the construction site in Malone, New York.
The $35 million project includes the construction of a 98,000-square-foot, three-story skilled care facility and a 22,500-square-foot, two-story assisted living facility. The new facility, which is the consolidation of the Alice Hyde and Franklin County Nursing homes, will house 165 beds and contain kitchen, dining, living, office and activity spaces.
